I found this beauty just off Avenue Jean Lombard in Marseilles, France.It's such a killer bit of street art showing what can be done with graffiti that I decided to use it for my title page also!
The piece is fairly old already, it's dated '05, and there were a few other great graphs around the corner from it, but the powers that be, have obviously got a bit wise since then 'cos there is a big slobbering doberman protecting the site now!
Marseilles has got a wide range of styles of graffiti, most of it visual pollution tagging (omer you know who you are ;) but there are some really vibrant marks that take graffiti into art and make the cityscape a better place to see.
Seeing as how this blog starts off in Marseilles, France, here is a little bit of homage to the local football team Olympique Marseilles.

The day that I shot this photo they kicked their big rivals Paris in the derby so plenty fun that night in Marseilles!
